Calexico CBP Officers Discover Methamphetamine in Battery

Calexico, Calif. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Calexico downtown port of entry on Sunday discovered approximately $76,800 worth of methamphetamine concealed inside a vehicle battery. Shortly after 6:00 a.m. on Dec. 15, a narcotic detector dog alerted to the engine compartment of a 2001 Volkswagen as it waited in line for inspection. (more)
