Probably on a dare or some other stupid thing, like the segment the program Jackass did about of a white guy filmed taking a knarly dump on a toilet in an American hardware store while reading a newspaper, pissed off the store manager which was the desired effect for the film. On a previous effort to get the shot the guy crapped his pants in the back seat of the car on the way to the store.

I found it amazing that the people walking by the Canadian Indian doing his thing acted as if they didn't even notice. If one were biased against white Canadian nationals rather than "minorities" in America, this clip could be "proof" that public defecation is perfectly acceptable in Canada - "what a national pigsty".

It didn't seem to be a surveillance film, and filming of the event didn't appear to be random either. I think it was all staged - it looked like he just dropped his pants to sit on a flower pot to simulate taking a dump - one stage beyond mooning for shock value and no one seemed to notice.

Until it got on Youtube.
