The real sad part is, Whitman could go down to the border with a big sign saying "WELCOME FROM THE SUCKERS" and someone will STILL come along and say Poizner is a RINO, he's a CFR don't trust him. Blah blah blah. The only thing absolutely certain is that no democrat is going to stop republicans from shooting all their toes off.

All that has to happen is for republicans to start the infighting that has never failed democrats yet, and you'll be saying Governor Jerry Brown - in spanish.

Why can't the Ds and Rs stop their ignorant fighting and fight or work together to save the USA? It is possible to disagree but still work for the good of OUR country. I suppose that is too simple though.

The Ds and the Rs are not fighting at all. That's really the problem. The ignorant ones are those who continue to believe that the Ds and the Rs are actually two different parties instead of two false fronts for the same power structure, the "two party system".

People are not ignorant solely because they hope to reclaim their political parties someday. Corrution happens everywhere, and it's up to those living under it to try and oppose it. Sure there are corrupt entites working within both parties to achieve goals not consistent with the parties main intent, but that doesn't follow that the party membership are all part and parcel to those goals.

Well, I never said or suggested or emplied that any party membership are all corrupt. I said that the "two party system" is a corruption of our political system and its government. I said that the two parties of the "two party system" are not even really two seperate parties. They aren't and the alleged public debate between them is fake.

The problem is that people confuse the political parties with government. This is ignorance. The political parties are a freedom enjoyed in this country guarenteed by the constitutional freedom of assembly.

The solution is to end the primary elections and registering with political parties when you register to vote. Nobody in government should be collecting information on your political affiliations. This is violation of your rights as a US citizen to privacy. The first thing that dictators do after they take away your guns, is start to keep track of everyone's political affiliations. But the dictators of the "two party system" have decided to keep track of your party affiliations before they take away your guns.
