Police raided the offices of a Hispanic citizenship organization and the home of its director on Wednesday after receiving allegations of theft and burglary.

Las Vegas police said they have received several complaints about Rene Orozco, state director for the League of United Latin American Citizens. Complainants told police that Orozco accepted money from them to assist with citizenship and criminal defense issues but failed to help them. Police said the "overwhelming majority" of complainants are undocumented immigrants or those facing other citizenship issues."
