Morton said scrutiny of inmates in federal and state prisons is good, and immigrants are generally removed from the country after serving their prison sentences. But there are large gaps in municipal and county jails.

I think this is BS.

The National crime computer has been in effect since at least the early '90's.

An overnight stay in a county jail gives the Feds a full set of palm and fingerprints plus pictures, and god knows what else.

An arrest with police "charges" from all those years ago will show up, as well as any convictions.

If they were hunting down illegals for being illegal, they wouldn't have the opportunity to commit any crimes. Once again we are begging for the privilege of doing something that ought to be unecessary. Hunt them down and throw the little rats out before they commit any crimes.

Just being here illegally is grounds for deportation , in fact the law demands it.
