Shipping/transport From Sac To Southern CA

SOS would like to help out an associate who needs a small portable air compressor for events. We have one in Sac, and it needs to get to Southern CA. The unit weighs about 20 pounds or so, and is about as big as hand held megaphone

[B]The only solution I can think of are donations for shipping. I think Fed EX or that other shipping place will even pack it for a person. Do you need a donation and how much do you think the shipping would cost. I am not 'loaded' but I do try to help out.
Don't ask me to find out the shipping charges etc. because I simply do not have the time for that.[B]

I was hoping for more of the "cheap bastard" approach to this. something along the lines of someone going that way, or knows somebody that is

I kind of thought that was what you were saying . As much as I would like to make a trip to SF to see and old friend, I just cannot make the auto trip.
The shipping should not be too bad since it will not be parcel post, that is out of sight.
