I tried my best to get the word out not to talk to them or even acknowledge their presence. We have a lot of people who attend these events who haven't done that much activism and so they think they're getting their two cents in. Believe me I tried to warn them of the vermin.

We should also than thank a member who answered my question when I asked if anyone had a video camera we could use. I won't mention him by name, but he went out and bought us a camera and donated the video camera, case and tripod so that we were able to video this event. Yes, we have members who actually care and are willing to step forward. Thank you again for the video equipment, you see how much we needed it.

I learned early on that anything you say to one of them will be put on YouTube. They will edit any words spoken by you to suit their agenda. Telling members to not even acknowledge their presence is the best information you can give members. If members remember anything I believe that is the most important. There are some such as Cliff who wander around with a camera but he is really snooping for anything he can hear some unaware person say. Try just observing people and you will see what I am talking about..

How sad to see the same people doing this misstep time and time again. Well they have a 1st Amendment right to freedom of speech, they're damn well going to exercise it, and no one is going to tell them anything different.

The only people that should be dealing with these sorts are the organizers. How hard is it for these to say, "If you want to talk to someone, talk to one of the organizers."
