Obama Administration Drops Defense of Anti-Gay Marriage Law

I heard on the news this week end, about a married couple who consisted of a husband, a wife and another man for the woman. The woman had a boy by #3 about 5 years old. They all live in the same house together.
I did not hear the reason for this strange household but some one told me it was because the husband did not want children, well he kind of has one now.

I understand what gay marriage is but I sure don't understand this arrangement.
What will people think of next?
