LA Weekly Article on Joblessness/Illegals.
LA Weekly online article from late November 2009 about Obongo's "Jobless Recovery". A short article that kind of tap dances around the illegal alien issue, but check out the "comments" after this short article. Amazing!

They all seem to tap dance around illegal immigration.
And the blog commentary on stories such as this are not surprising in my book: four to five years ago those people were working and didn't have all that extra time to think about putting out 600 job applications and resumes, getting a response on only two, and not one invitation for a job interview. While experiencing foreclosure and auto repossession. As I stated elsewhere, even before the recession, I heard a lot of commentary that a person couldn't get hired into the trades unless he was a Mexican National. Employer discrimination by national origin against American citizens affects Hispanics as well as Anglos.
