An update:
This guy was sentenced recently and then was released to....I presume....ICE, for deportation. The crime he was charged with carries a one year, 3 year, or five year sentence. it's a sex crime relative to an under 14 year old child. He got 364 days. But was released to be deported in what...5 1/2 months, but only four months after he was formally sentenced

So he hasn't served his sentence...not even the minimum one, and deportation is just a release since the border is still wide open like the wild, wild west. So what's left is 5 years of probation.

Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 27-year-old man found with a 13-year-old girl missing from a group home earlier this month.
The girl left the group home in the 3000 block of Subaru Court on May 7, and was believed to be having an intimate relationship with Armando Juanico Rivera.
On Sunday night, shortly before 10 p.m., sheriff's deputies found the two at a movie theater on Ethan Way. Rivera was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on a charge of committing a lewd act with a child under the age of fourteen.
The girl was placed with Sacramento County authorities in a local receiving facility, said Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Jason Ramos. Rivera is being held on $100,000 bail, Ramos said.
