Default 1692 Marjor Earthquate: Jamaica

Haiti's recent earthquake is part of a history of serious seismic activity in the Carribbean. In 1692 there was a catastrophic earthquake on the neighboring island of Jamaica. It was called the Port Royal Earthquake. Pretty devastating by all accounts and no USA to provide aid in those days.

The Carribean is definitely earthquake territory. It is not as bad as the "Ring of Fire" in the Pacific, but it is trouble.
