Today I was watching as they interviewed one of the residents. He laughed and said some of the protesters were trying to make the officers do something so they can sue the City. Sounds like Mayday 2007.

And why wouldn't they, after all the money Villaraigosa handed illegal aliens without a trial for the "May Day Melee?"
Just a side thought.

LA is almost bankrupt, couldn't find money for the traditional veteran's day parade.

All those political scandals of cities laying off employees while shoveling out obscene compensation and gold plated retirement to mayors and council members as well as all those slush funds and all the rest of the graft.

Could Villaraigosa really get away with throwing money at affronted illegality yet again?

Last night I was watching the same channel, ABC7 and saw the same interview again. That time they left out the part about the man saying the protesters were looking for a PD violation so they can sue the city.

We demand:
Arrest LAPD officer Frank Hernandez for murder!
An independent investigation into the killing!
Community control over the police!
No more raids, racial profiling or police violence targeting oppressed communities!
Now they 'demand' that they be in charge of LA, they are sick of Villar and Beck standing in their way.
COMMUNITY CONTROL OVER THE POLICE.
I suppose they want to hire their gang members to be police officers. It is not enough that the LA PD is at least 50% hispanic.

If you remember Rimo, Maywood did exactly that, they hired gang members for their police department. And look at where they are today. Los Angeles can't continue on like this. It is a bomb Tony Villar built that is ready to explode. And when a toilet explodes that's full of crap, it lands up flying everywhere.
