Convicted Vegas bomber gets life without parole
The Associated Press
LAS VEGAS -- A 29-year-old convicted bombmaker from Nicaragua has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for killing a hot dog stand vendor outside a Las Vegas casino in 2007.
Porfirio Duarte-Herrera also was sentenced Thursday to 19 to 50 years for attempted murder with use of a deadly weapon and transportation of an explosive device.
Convicted co-defendant 34-year-old Omar Rueda-Denvers, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, was sentenced earlier to life in prison plus 16 to 40 years.
The two men were convicted of killing 24-year-old Willebaldo Dorantes Antonio, of Mexico.
Prosecutors say Rueda-Denvers supplied the motive for the slaying - his ex-girlfriend was dating Dorantes Antonio - and Duarte-Herrera built the pipe bomb that was hidden in a coffee cup.

Default verdict

One lives by the sword, one lives in a prison cell for life sometimes.

"They only come here to work. They want a better life and they just want to feed their family. Being hungry is not a crime."

Oh, great, now we have to support these S.O.B.s for the rest of their lives. I say shoot them and send them back to wherever they came from in a body bag, C.O.D. of course.

Of course the hot dog vender was yet another rat illegal, we can guess. We are obliged to put up with this fetid little soap opera. And pay for it too.

The cost to incarcerate these criminals will cost the taxpayer well over a million dollars. Yet, this administration insists that we wait until they've committed a crime before we deal with their legal status to be in this country. That's like ignoring a gun shot until you're bleeding to death. Does a police officer put on his bullet proof vest after the bullet leaves the gun. No, you take precautions first.

We already know they do not respect our laws by being here illegally. But this administration insists we don't do anything until is costs us billions, and then complains we can't afford the jails, prisons and court costs. That was Mexico's plan in the first place, to overwhelm our court and prison system to the point of no defense. Well we're just about there.

This waiting until the illegals have committed a crime is just another type of amnesty. And once we have no control in our courts, or room in our jails and prisons, amnesty will be automatic and there will be no stopping any one from being here. Welcome drug cartels, terrorists and everyone else.

What the liberals and openborders loons need to think about is a saying that we've all heard once or twice "No good deed goes unpunished" and we're starting to see that happening in large numbers today.
