Default Activists tell Obama to protect illegals

Immigrant rights groups on Monday demanded that President Obama impose a full moratorium on deportations of illegal immigrants, arguing that his policies have been worse for their cause than those of his Republican predecessor.

"After his immigration proposal died in the Senate in 2007, Mr. Bush stepped up enforcement and deportations. He said Americans would not accept legalization because they did not trust the government to enforce the laws."

The government doesn't enforce immigration law, doesn't matter if the dog and pony show belongs to Obama or Bush. It's been a show either way.

But to the open borders crowd, one deportation is one too many.

I look at it this way: illegals now being deported left family in other countries before they came here. By deporting those who are here illegally, it can be said that there is family reunification in the home country.

Lives "destroyed"?

No.

Inconveniences for those here illegally?

Yes.

How long has it been since the American government was concerned about "convenience" for American citizens?

Never.

After all, "Think not of what your country may do for you, but what you may do for your country" (and for a bazillion illegal aliens which both the Republican and Democrat parties see as a boost for their specific agendas - lying, game playing political bastards that they are.)
