I don't see where we have not already engaged in amnesty on a grand scale. Lots of the illegals have been given some sort of legal status over the past 5years, and it has been happening in leaps and bounds in the past 2. TPS, Victim visas, now the humanitarian scheme, persecution, etc. Public exposure to this one you point out is likely just a smoke screen to take our minds off what is already happening
