Saw this trailer ad, and sure enough it's just like the real deal. These trailers are harder to find than the average type, and perform best for our purposes.

And here's an additional bonus!

Unfortunately there's no trailer buying funds right now, but I'd sure like to have seen this become the southern California fleet

Is it street legal?

It doesn't look like it's set up with brake lights or electric brakes (which you would certainly want with the draw bar set - up).

Certainly there are no running lights.

Couldn't those be added?

Certainly the brake lights and clearance lights.

I don't see brakes on the left front wheel.

I don't know the costs, but by the time it is retrofitted with electric brakes, it might be cheaper to buy a new trailer ready to roll.

Another consideration is how big a chunk the state would tear off in submitting paper work and registration costs after the work is done.

I didn't see any electric cord or pollack plugs, chains, break - away device, or clearance lights. So I'm assuming it's not street legal, that its intended use is for other than highway transport.

I just spoke to AG, and you are correct that it is not street legal, but he said his other trailer was in the same condition when he bought it.

If it can work, that's fine.

I wanted to bring up possible problems before money was exchanged.
