Default The immigration factor: importing cultural poverty

We as a country can not sustain a standard as a first world country while we saturate our schools with third world illiteracy. I’ve written this over and over again, trying to get anyone and everyone to pay attention to what is happening in our schools. Frosty Wooldridge explains it perfectly in this piece.
When you talk to those in education, they seem oblivious to the impact; especially when they get so much more federal funds to educate ESL/ELL (English learners) or tuition from foreign students. But the facts are that even those higher tuitions don’t pay the whole bill to educate them, the taxpayer pays the bulk. Since the begining of this country we saw our illiteracy rates decline up until the mid 60’s. Since then we have seen our illiteracy rates climb since President LBJ change our immigration in 1965; that was the same year the “War on Poverty” was signed in and all the entitlements began to expand. California has the highest illiteracy rate in the country at around 30%. Most are called functionally illiterate.
This has to be stopped and turned around. But don’t expect those in education to agree no matter how bad it gets, it isn’t in their best interest because they would loose a paycheck.

The immigration factor: importing cultural poverty

Part 11: The immigration factor—if we do nothing—importing cultural poverty

At the current rate of legal and illegal immigration, the United States will add 100 million third world immigrants within the next 38 years. No one seems to understand the consequences culturally, environmentally or as to standard of living and quality of life. This series spells it out rather brutally. Once this 100 million reaches America’s shores by 2050, we all become victims. We all pay severe prices across the American landscape. We must muster the courage to change course and stop this massive importation of humanity.
The United States once enjoyed the most educated and productive civilization in the world. Our citizens enjoyed K-12 education where most students graduated from high school. Twenty percent of graduates continued on through college, master’s programs and ultimately Ph.D.’s. Most others took up trade schools. Millions from around the world clamored to attend our universities. They still do.

However, since we began importing millions of immigrants from the third world from 1965 up to the present, our educational systems plummeted. California, the most immigrant overrun state, fell from the top five educational states in the Union to the bottom five in 2012. California’s crime, corruption, welfare, free breakfasts and lunches for students along with food stamps for families tops the national list.

Heavily Middle Eastern immigrated Detroit, Michigan suffers a 76 percent dropout/flunkout rate from high school students. (Source: Brian Williams, NBC News, June 2010) Cities like Denver, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, San Francisco and New York suffer 50 to 60 percent flunk out rates. A whopping 7,000 students drop out of high schools across the United States every day, one every 26 seconds. (Source: CNN News)

The results may shock you. According to the American Reading Foundation, 42 million Americans cannot read, write or perform simple math. Another 50 million cannot read past the 4th grade level. A whopping 46.9 million Americans subsist on taxpayer food stamps. Functional illiteracy multiplies itself in poverty and welfare.

What caused us to plummet like a rock in water? What caused our successful civilization to degrade itself educationally to a point of large-scale illiteracy?
If you look at other failed or failing countries, you will notice the single greatest factor in their misery, violence and suffering stems from one word: illiteracy. If you look at India, an estimated 50 million out of its 1.2 billion do not have access to a toilet. Over 1,000 children die every day from dysentery, diarrhea and other water borne diseases.
(Source: www.populationmedia.org)
Since they add another 11 million people, net gain, annually to India, they can never solve their problems of illiteracy, poverty and human misery. I estimate over half of Africa’s nearly 1 billion people do not enjoy a toilet or running water. Millions starve to death annually. Why? Answer: illiteracy.
Cultural poverty, cultural illiteracy, cultural human misery

Where do all the immigrants arriving into America originate? Virtually all of them arrive from third world countries, third world cultures and third world illiteracy. Again, let me remind you that at current legal immigration rates along with illegal and their children, we will add 100 million immigrants to America within 38 years.

Do you have any idea how we will be able to change their cultural and intellectual poverty? As you can see already manifesting in our school systems today, we won’t. We create intractable poverty within our country that will degrade, devolve and decay our once first world country. It’s inevitable and it’s already happening. I don’t understand why our citizens and leaders can’t see it. And, they avoid taking action to stop it!
You cannot expect millions of bush people from the Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia and Egypt to all of a sudden become educated, intelligent, skilled and contributing first world citizens just because they reached America’s shores. It takes decades, even hundreds of years for societies to evolve. It takes individuals decades to move out of their cultural poverty.

Today, we stand at the back end of an added 100 million immigrants since 1965. We gallop toward an added 100 million more immigrants before 205.

Why do you think we suffer such polarization and governmental gridlock of our country in 2012? Answer: our diversity and multiculturalism collide with each other. Our differences cannot be solved because they stem from incompatible cultures.

Samuel Huntington, author of Clash of Civilizations, wrote: “It is my hypothesis that the fundamental source of conflict in this new world will not be primarily ideological or primarily economic. The great divisions among humankind and the dominating source of conflict will be cultural. Nation states will remain the most powerful actors in world affairs, but the principal conflicts of global politics will occur between nations and groups of different civilizations. The clash of civilizations will dominate global politics. The fault lines between civilizations will be the battle lines of the future.”

Can you imagine what it will look like in 2050 as we add 100 million immigrants? Answer: not pretty. We will suffer four major competing cultures that will not give an inch—and dozens of smaller tribes. We will suffer horrific and intractable poverty that cannot be solved.

All the while, the third world will continue adding 80 million people annually, net gain, as they scream toward an added 3 billion by 2050. This “thing” cannot be solved by immigration.

The sooner we call for a total moratorium on all immigration and a maximum of less than 100,000 compatible immigrants annually after the moratorium—we stand a chance to survive this immigration madness. Again, you may use Parts 3 and 4 to start the greatest social networking campaign ever seen to change the course of history in one country.

Because if you don’t, America will look like these two videos:
In a five minute astoundingly simple yet brilliant video, “Immigration, Poverty, and Gum Balls”, Roy Beck, director of www.numbersusa.ORG, graphically illustrates the impact of overpopulation.

Take five minutes to see for yourself:

“Immigration by the numbers—off the chart” by Roy Beck

This 10 minute demonstration shows Americans the results of unending mass immigration on the quality of life and sustainability for future generations: in a word “Mind boggling!” www.NumbersUSA.org

.

Change your children’s future to one of hope and prosperity rather than what’s coming if you do nothing. The worse decision you can make is to think that you can do so little that you do nothing at all.
