Default Cal State Fresno Student Challenges Lying Dream Act Wannabe

I've kept this one under the radar for a bit, but it's time for a proper airing,

I made contact with this student after reading that he needed help for a protest, after all, that's what we are here for. After some discussion, I worked with him on research issues, and after a few days, he seemed to have some natural talent for it and took off running. He located the real facts surrounding another student who had outed himself as an illegal after being elected student body president. Obviously it was a promotional attempt by the mexican and open borders lobby to garner support for DREAM.
But Neil's hard work is bringing forth some inconvenient truths about Pedro Ramirez, and it's even getting some play in the news media

If the allegations are true, then Pedro needs to go.

I predicated my uneasy position (future immigration attorney) that he should be allowed to stay generally on people I know. There genuinely is some hostility to the presumption-ness of illegals among a portion of people labeled "Hispanic", even among first generation born in America.

This is where it all gets mish-mashed: who's ox is getting gored and how.

I believe there would be more standing against illegals if illegal immigration wasn't so identified with racial issues. After all, illegals beat them out of jobs as well as they do whites, blacks, and everyone else.

On the other hand, the idea behind allowing the foreign born children of illegals to stay had two points: they would be unwelcome strangers in their parent's country, but would be very angry at their parents being deported - as I believe the parents should be. That's why I propose that they be permanent residents without the right to vote. It's generally what I feel is a compromise for those who climb out of foreign-ness. Regardless of what Pedro or that knuckle dragging Brown Beret racist in the clip might claim, Pedro is not "Mexican", at least not to the satisfaction of most Mexican nationals.

However, if Pedro has the same thought chain as the race baiting Brown Beret clown at the mic, who neglected to relate in his tirade that the Spanish Crown laid claim to what is now the southwest US centuries before there was a Mexico (and largely empty of Hispanic occupation of any persuasion before 1846), Pedro "the Mexican" needs to go.

As well as gang bangers, other genuine criminals and those who refuse to become minimaly educated and become perpetual social services fodder.

It's hard to describe and it's not my own experience to be in between, but based on my experiences and my understanding of the situation I have great sympathy for those who are stuck between the cultures. At least until they individually show themselves to be racist assholes, criminals, or leeches.

Then it individually ends.
