This is a huge mistake. I should not included myself as having some other country as a "country of origin". I was born here as were my parents and their parents. But I can trace my ancestry back to a non-English speaking country.

I should also like to point out that the people who founded this country were colonials and settlers, not immigrants. And since they founded it, could not have immigrated into it. We need to remember that the country was founded by English colonials and settlers whose values and struggles make the country what it is today. This is why we speak English and why our government should adopt English as an official language. We need to keep track of our political roots. If we value our system of government, we need to know and remember where it came from and why.
