Who is this benefiting? Where's the White Lawyers Association?

Event benefits legal aid project
Stays at local casinos, spa treatments, gift baskets and cupcakes every month in 2010 from a local bakery are among the offerings at the Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association third annual volunteer attorney recognition and silent auction.
The event is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Riverside County Law Library, 3989 Lemon St., Riverside. Suggested donation is $25.
Proceeds go to the association's legal aid project. The IELLA offers its services to any qualified applicant, and the need for legal help on eviction and family law issues has grown over the past year in the spiraling economy.
Guests scheduled for honors at the banquet include Riverside County Superior Court Judges Irma Asberry, Helios J. Hernandez II and Becky Dugan, as well as San Bernardino County Superior Court Judge John Pacheco.
For reservations, 951-369-5846, or e-mail fundraise@iellaaid.org

I wish I had time on my hands and money in my pocket all at the same time - I would go to these events and see what they are about.

The query about the white lawyer's association: the double standard is that such a thing would be racist.

In 2005 or 2006, an Hispanic member of the Bush Administration was booked to address the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Victorville. It was discussed on line, and it turned out the person, whose name I forget, had a career of Hispanic activism, paving the way for the invasion of this country by foreign nationals who have no legal right to be here.

The Latino Lawyers (sounds like a singing group) is another manifestation of Hispanic racial warfare.
