El Centro Sector Border Patrol Arrests Two and Uncovers More Than $77K of Marijuana
Calexico, Calif. - Saturday, U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Calexico station arrested two men attempting to smuggle approximately 96 pounds of marijuana with an estimated value of more than $77,000.The incident occurred at around 11 a.m., when Border Patrol agents detected two men walking north from the United States/Mexico International Boundary fence in a remote desert area east of Calexico.
