Sorry. This is pretty off topic but I wanted you guys to get a chance to check it out.

Some work is being done looking at the results of elections. It is called Algorithmic Vote Flipping.

A fairly simple explanation of what people are seeing is explained here. (You've got to scroll down inside the box the documents are posted in to get to the flipping);
