Default TEA Party Pictures from 4-15-2010

This is what it looked like entering the Pleasanton TEA Party on 4-15-2010.

The stage and most of the people were on the other side.

Many times the people reminded me of when we would get together at the Love-Ins of the sixties when we would get together in the parks to hang out and discuss the topics of the day.

This lady had a great Soviet sounding accent. She said she came from the Soviet Union 23 years ago, if I remember right. She was very concerned the direction that the country is heading in regards to socialism. She said she has lived under it and could see the direction we were heading.

Thanks DerailAmnesty.com and Patriotic Army Mom.

Did I mention I got a chance to meet hundreds of people handing out my Super Dollar's? (Shameful plug)

It was a regular party. Well about as good as it gets for me nowadays :-)

Yeah, it's moving when you look away from it, but soon as you stare at it, it stops.
I'm going to have to stare at it all day now to make sure it doesn't get a chance to move

I learned how to make the optical illusion by studying this collage professors lessons. They work good on the Internet but not so hot in actual print. I've made lots of different ones and tried lots of different colors but none of them can make the transition to print well.

Here is a link to a website of Akiyoshi's. He is the master at these and has a page with a little lesson on why they work and how to make your own. Look under the first group of snakes for a PDF that explains how they work. Or here (PDF Warning).
