The only thing that is broken, and has been broken are immigration laws. They broke the laws to get here, and continue to break them by staying. It's just a catch phrase "Our immigration is broken". Say something enough times and just about everyone will believe it. What was an error was to change our immigration system to chain migration that Johnson did in the 60's. That is the "broken" part that started all the problems.
You continue to hear the "secure the borders" but half of the illegals came with a visitors visa on a plane or boat and just never left. That's one part of immigration that needs to be addressed; a system to track the violators down and get them out.

Sure there are plenty of things that could and should be done, but to say our immigration is broken is a lie. Our laws are not being enforced, both on immigration and now any law that could force them out.

Excellent! I am so sick of that phrase "our immigration system is broken". Just what the hell does that mean anyway? It's broken because it doesn't cut the illegals enough slack or it's broken because it's not strict enough? You're right, all it is is a catch phrase, usually used by liberal politicians or RINO's who don't want to be pinned down on what their policy actually is.

Default Snake oil

The term - "Our immigration policy is broken" is simply a skunk oil, slick, disingenuous, mealy mouth term that has no basis in fact. The spewing of charlatans to hoodwink.

You and we cannot trust these con artists .

The majority of American's are on to them and especially certain elements of the media who have shined the spotlight the chicanery and lies.

Now that we know - what do we do ?

For myself - plenty already implemented
