Default Media Siezes; Twists Jeb Bush's Comments Into Latino Favoritism

Ex Governor Jeb Bush interviewed by major news outlets recently, advised that the GOP should consider the party's "tone" on some issues, and should also broaden it's base by reaching out. Although Bush didn't mention specific demographics, the major news media quickly began extrapolating Bush's comments to mean the party should reach out to latinos, and mind their tone on immigration. It is exactly this type of propaganda that proves the media is biased for both latinos and immigrants, and gives rise to conspiracy theories that big business, one world government, and elites control the larger media.

Bush has been a constant source of irritation when defending illegals and latino's, but he doesn't need a ghost writer to do that. We see now that when a spokeshole for the open borders movement doesn't quite measure up the standards of the industry, the big boys step in as interpreters so as not to leave any doubt in policy.

Default Don't forget-------

That Jeb Bush is married to a Mexican. His kids are mestizos.

His brother George was completely remiss in doing much of anything against illegal aliens.

Is there anyone naive enough to believe that Jeb would be strongly anti-Latino and rant about it ?

Latinos are Jebs and Georges "familia" hombre.

There's a big difference between being anti Latino and anti illegal immigration.

As well there are a lot of "Latinos" Jeb and George wouldn't consider "familia" and the other way around.

Most Mexicans are mestizo, the majority which came about in the 19th century. A minority are Indians, and some are white. Jeb's wife has a lot of white in her looks and she didn't grow up poor. Before the words came up in the second page of the linked article (some of it sappy, like eating huevos rancheros somehow proves that someone is "supermex" any more than bacon and eggs defines a patriot), I perceived the old fashioned Mexican about her. There's a difference between her and a typical border hopper, not the least that she came here in a legal manner. The comment about the Mexican reaction to a heart rending ranchera is universal in the culture, it is said that a Mexican party isn't successful unless everyone's crying while singing along with a ranchera song towards the end of the event.

I like this quote: ``Columba`s problem is that she married a man who would later be entangled in important politics,`` says Columba`s older sister and closest confidante, Lucila Schmitz. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1...-bush-campaign (I edited this because the first link was to page two rather than page one)

George is a corporateer, cheap labor fits into his makeup. However, he did embark upon a series of raids on employers of illegal aliens when his plan for amnesty foundered. Not sure if this was a political ploy of one or more sorts or was a genuine attempt to follow the will of the people.

Default Yes, I know.

I lived in Latin Americas and travelled 32 countries for 6 years.

Venezuelan "Ibericos", Spanish Ancestry, are more prejudiced against the Coco"s, and Negro's than Norte Americanos are.

Argentina is essentially European, English, Italian. Chile too. Bolivia is basically native Indian. Mexico is a lot of everything.

The difference between being anti-Latino and anti-illegal immigrant is that Latinos are confined generally to two continents, North and South America. Mexico, incidentally belongs to the North American continent - thus - Mexicans are in fact North Americans, not South Americans.

Illegal aliens come from all over the world, Ireland, Russia, China, India, from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and numerous other countries..

We here in the USA do not have a corner on illegal immigration. France has the Muslims and Africans flooding in. England is overrun with aliens from the former Colonies. The Netherlands is flooded with Muslims. Germany is being assaulted by Turks. Greece has it's problems. And Canada is having more problems with the aliens too.

What you don't see is English, Canadians, Australians, French, Germans, Italians, crashing the border. But what you do see are legal visa holders coming and overstaying. It is said that 40% of illegals come through the New York port of entry.

So it's a two fold problem; #!. World overpopulation. #2. Poor country people, coming to the affluent countries.

Speaking for myself, the 50 thousand illegal Irish here in the North East should be tossed back just as quick as the Mexicans in Arizona.
