Default Report from three important immigration events on June 24, 2014

Dear friends,

On Tuesday, June 24 2014 three major events took place in Southern California, regarding illegal immigration and the recent surge of illegals flooding the USA through the Texas border.

1. A public hearing in Los Angeles for the public to comment on types of documentation to be used by illegal aliens for verification purposed when they apply for a driver license.
2. A rally to support the Border Patrol, and the protest against the proposed PROCESSING AND RELEASE of illegal aliens into the Murrieta/ Temecula area in CA.
3. An Escondido Planning Commission meeting to vote on the Conditional Use Permit to allow/ deny a DETENTION CENTER/ TRANSITIONAL HOUSING for Illegal Alien youths in Escondido, CA.

Illegal border crossings by Illegal aliens have recently spiked in Texas, as word has spread throughout Latin America that Illegal immigrants (aliens), especially “minors” will receive “deferred action” (no deportation).

In response to this recent spike in illegal border crossings, the Obama administration has implemented a program where these recently arrived illegal aliens are flown to various parts of the country and “housed”, for unspecified periods, of time. There hasn’t been much confirmation as to what the Federal Gov. is going to do with these individuals, and where all of them are going to be relocated, but here is what we know:

1. The media is reporting that the population that is currently surging at the Texas border is mainly unaccompanied minors. While there are many unaccompanied minors in this group, the overwhelming majority are young adult males from Central America.
2. These recently arrested illegal aliens, are being relocated through out the country. I have read reports of some being sent to Massachusetts, Michigan, and confirmation of a military base in Oklahoma as some of the sites.
3. Two proposals were put into consideration to fly these illegal aliens from Texas and processing them at the border patrol station in Murrieta to be released into nearby communities and housing the illegal alien youths in a detention center in a suburban neighborhood in Escondido, CA. I have no doubt there are probably countless other cities where there are plans to set up new relocation settlements.
4. We believe that these proposed housing sites are actually, a resettlement program designed by the Obama Administration/ Federal Gov. to enable illegal aliens to resettle in the United States.
5. The recent border surge of illegal aliens into the USA can rapidly escalate and become an even bigger crisis as word continues to spread throughout the world that illegal immigrants (aliens) will not be deported.

All three events were very important.

A DMV sponsored Public Hearing in Los Angeles to illicit comments on what kind of documentation will be required by illegal aliens to prove their identity and California residency in the application process to obtain driver licenses.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++
DMV officials facilitating the Public Hearing issued strict instructions that comments could pertain to the required documentation, only. About 300 attended the hearing. The dozen or so American citizens who called for strict guidelines to prevent security risks and fraud were outnumbered 30 to 1 by those who wanted to expand the type of documents, e.g., library cards or a letter from a church, to make it easier for illegal alien applicants to obtain licenses. The hearing was well attended by reporters and photographers from all Los Angeles media outlets and was aired live via webcast. If those few citizens hadn’t voiced their comments, only the opposition would have been heard. Almost all of the of those citizens were not public speakers, for some it was their first Public Hearing experience but they recognized the importance standing up. By Betty

Around 40 concerned Americans showed up to the Murrieta Border Patrol Station rally. This rally and public outcry from the last rally in front of the Duck Pond in Temecula coupled with a visit with Congressman Calvert's staff and countless phone calls to city officials, the proposal to process the illegal aliens at the Murrieta Border Patrol Station and the release of illegal aliens into nearby communities was put on hold. This is the second time in two weeks that they have canceled their plans to use the Murrieta Border Patrol Station as the processing center of illegal aliens. By Ly.

The largest event was the Escondido Planning Commission meeting. Approximately 500 citizens showed up at the public meeting and voiced their strong opposition to having a detention center/ transitional housing for illegal alien youths in their town through the issuance of a conditional use permit. This detention center/ transitional housing was going to house 96 illegal alien youths in the very nice area of Escondido in San Diego County. The applicant was the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service and it was going to be run by Southwest Key Corp, a "NON-profit" that provide transitional housing services for illegal alien youths. This 96 bed-facility would have cost the U.S. taxpayers $8.5 million annually. The Escondido Planning Commission denied their request for the Conditional Use Permit proposal because the detention center/ transitional housing is incompatible with existing land use. By Ly.

Thankfully, word got out and we had an excellent turnout, especially in Escondido, which provided the pressure to stop these proposals. Numbers USA helped us by sending out an alert of these meetings to 24,000 So CA members.

We are learning that we can stop the Federal Government's plans to process and dump illegal aliens in our communities by getting enough people to show up and say no to their plans.

500 concerned individuals put the brakes on the plans in Escondido, but 40 had the same positive effect in Murrieta. We have to keep the pressure on.

Lesson: We can stop this taxpayer paid resettlement program for illegal aliens and it only takes a small group of involved Americans!

Best regards.
