MSNBC will host a town hall event focusing on immigration Monday, November 15. The town hall will air live from the University of San Diego from 10 PM- 12 AM and will be hosted by “Last Word” host Lawrence O’Donnell and Vote Latino executive director Maria Teresa Kumar. Guests on the special will include actress and activist Rosario Dawson and Telemundo’s Jose Diaz Balart (Telemundo is owned by NBC universal, which also owns MSNBC). Topics of discussion will include Arizona’s immigration law and the influence of the Latino voting bloc during the 2010 midterm elections. More information, after the jump. Bring your barf bag !
I have been to these "sponsored" conferences. Everyone on this forum already knows what to expect.
I go to them to get a handle on the insurgents and to take names and places. Sometimes it really gets interesting - "Like the "tan" fellow that was selling Communist booklets before the festivities for 25 cents a copy. *( I bought one ). In fact I grabbed a copy of "everything" that was handed out or being sold and it was VERY abundant. That gave me a huge insight on who was who, who was doing what, how they operated and where they were located. Quite an education and quite a shocker. When I go I keep quiet, don't shout, don't protest, don't demonstrate. I just smile, shake hands and ask questions.
