I'm no sure how to phrase this, but:

At what point in history have so many micro-laws been forced upon those who disagree with others? I see a collection of laws, no doubt a sample across our country, of taxing people into believing what is moral and forcing social legislation on opponents.

For example, if an idea is good, tax it. If you believe in earth conservatism or don't believe in smoking in your view, let the government regulate it and tax it.

For another example, if your jurisdiction polls against an idea, pass it (or repeal it if they are for it) under the guise of good for the country as social legislation and let the government regulate it and force the community to pay for it. Such is with the dream act and proposition 9(?) in California.

I just wonder if we'll be remembered as the 'Age of Micromangement'.

Anyone want to take a gander at when they'll be more laws than people in Califormia?
