We are in deep trouble! Emergency action needed!

Apparently, we are being betrayed by a group of Republican Senators, who have reached a deal with the Gang of eight. Senators Corker of Tennessee and Senator Hoeven (ho-ven) of North Dakota have reached a back room deal on an amendment that if passed they and Tennessee Republican Senator Alexander will vote for the amnesty bill. Apparently the Gang of Eight has approved the amendment.

The amendment hasn't been released but details have been leaked that the amendment adds something like 20,000 border agents to the Mexico border.

The amnesty and immigration surge stays in tact, and the added border agents can be defunded later, just like the double layered 700 miles of border fence was passed in 2006 and defunded a short while later.

This is nothing but a fig leaf to help provide some cover to the Senators that are willing to betray the nation.

We need to call these traitors and tell them to stop selling out the American people!

I'd like to see this one. I don't know what good a border fence is without addressing visa overstays, or just new immigrants period. So we put up a fence and just open up the bridges and entry points, airports and harbors.
Fence or no, there's still millions of people here that weren't supposed to be. On the other hand, if it's written in such a way that it might have some teeth, the possibility exists that the Dems reject it instead of the republicans. The government has fought a fence tooth and nail. The last thing they want is a barrier... a new one....in an area they have been specifically wanting open. It violates their agenda badly

Most of the Senate would be happy to have an enormous immigration surge.

More labor supply = lower labor cost. Surrender the country, no problem!

They just need to be able to hide the facts from the voters in their respective state. They need a fig leaf that doesn't do anything, and they think this is what the Corker/hoeven amendment does. They think it's the fig leaf they've been looking for. If it's Schumer approved there's no chance on earth there's teeth in it. It's just a fig leaf for Republicans.

Most of the Senate should be in handcuffs.

I've just spent the last 3 hours emailing 39 Senators. I'm going to be calling a bunch tomorrow.
