Don't they usually call an election when one person is so far ahead that it is not reansonable to think that person will not prevail? I always thought and still think all the votes are eventually counted. I remember one year when I worked at the polls they found boxes of absentee ballots that had never been counted. That is when I stopped voting absentee.

It is not the job of the Secretary of State to speculate or predict the outcomes of races.

This kind of stuff has gone on for years. I remember while driving home from work the radio announced that Nixon had won. Mind you it was about 4:30 pm, long before the poles closed. I still voted when I got home and it was not for Nixon.
