Default Mexican military helicopter lands in Laredo

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...n/7686830.html

Quote:
A Mexican military helicopter landed Saturday afternoon at Laredo International Airport by mistake, said a spokeswoman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection

This is the latest such incursion that officials have called inadvertent as the Mexican military increases troop deployments in northeastern Mexico. In July, a convoy of soldiers rolled across the international bridge at Donna and were processed by customs and sent back across.

So the authorites would have us believe that the copter pilot was so incompetent that he cannot read maps, navigation gear, or his own eyes for that matter (dead reckoning), yet he can fly a helo....
Sorry, but I'm not buying it. A convoy getting stuck in a single directional lane of travel and having to cross is pluasible. The helo..not so much.

Conditioning is more likely, or some transfer of persons, info between US, mexico, or even private interests.

Mucia Dovalina, the uniform public affairs officer for the Laredo Port of Entry, said the helicopter landed about 3 p.m., but she couldn’t share details such as the number of occupants or whether they were armed.
Why not?

Most of Laredo's population is Mexican:

"Laredo is the largest inland port in the United States, and Nuevo Laredo the largest in Latin America."

Yeah why not? Everybody has the right to know what happened during the copter processing but why hide or not sharing any details or what just happened before allowing the copter to fly back to Mexico
