BORSTAR Rescues Subject in Distress from the Rio Grande River

Laredo, TX - Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Border Patrol Search Trauma and Rescue (BORSTAR) team responded to the Rio Grande River where an individual was stranded on a rock in the middle of the river. On December 6, Laredo Sector BORSTAR agents were dispatched at approximately 5:00 am, to the riverbanks of the Rio Grande River where they spotted an individual that was without clothing and in severe distress.
