Default San Diego Councilman Operating Business In Mexico

There's nothing wrong with owning a business in another country, but it might be less than pure if you did so to profit from the lower wages after having relocated it there from California. I'm aware that it has become SOP for some businesses to operate there, but if you are at the same time supposedly working in the interests of your community, it might be somewhat hypocritical. Anyone down there know this guy or the story behind the company?

Councilman Rudy Ramirez tells the San Diego Union-Tribune in a story posted Saturday that he was headed for his metal factory in Tecate, Mexico when he came around a curve on state Route 94 and hit the man.
