Gallegly Seated In Place Of King On Immigration Panel

Elton Gallegly suprisingly took the seat on the house immigration panel in place of rep King, who was thought to be the apparent successor earlier.
Sources close to the situation said that King was a probable liabilty where Latino voters were concerned, due to his outspoken position on illegal immigration from latin American countries, mainly Mexico.

Gallegly is in favor of stronger border security, and has also publicly stated support for curbing illegal immigration, but he lacked the recent stigma that accompanied King.
