About an hour ago, the police stopped by to say Hi. And, let me know that because of the prisoner release program a serial child molester has been settled in one of the flops down the street. Just a caution, keep the kids on the other side of the street. I don't have any children here. However, I can see a whole lot of stuff happening from the families who go to the laundromat and let the kids "out to play".

Ohhhhh, it never ends. It just never ends.

Yup, those houses with the lovely screen doors that are like jail cell doors. Usually within a year or so you'll start to see bars on all the windows. Those metal screen doors are the first sign of a neighborhood going down. It always starts with those first.

There's already a few with bars. We iron-fenced our front yard this year. 5 feet tall, but it was mostly so the dogs could roam the front and keep the immigrants on their toes
