"Groups of young men, arms decorated with tattoos, view the newcomer warily. A gringo on this side of town usually means parole officer, police officer or bounty hunter — none of which are welcome on this street.
Umm...is'nt "Gringo" pretty derogatory/racist of this paper to print? After all, it's not PC to print, nor even say "Wet-back" these days, so what gives? Not welcome on an American street......Wow, this artical really is insulting to any American Reader Whos taxes actually paid for the street/upkeep of the street....or Neighborhood for that matter. |
