Illegal immigration down - because of economy or border control?

If border control works, why would we see a decrease in the number of illegals in the US? Border control means controlling traffic in both directions. We should be arresting them when they try to sneak in and arresting them when they try to sneak out.

They can swim (wetb**k) and they will eat the gators. If you have ever seen them around a slaughtered pig, you would know what I am talking about. They use every morsel of that pig. Everything except the squeal and they would use that too, if they could.
