Event benefits legal aid project Stays at local casinos, spa treatments, gift baskets and cupcakes every month in 2010 from a local bakery are among the offerings at the Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association third annual volunteer attorney recognition and silent auction. The event is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Riverside County Law Library, 3989 Lemon St., Riverside. Suggested donation is $25. Proceeds go to the association's legal aid project. The IELLA offers its services to any qualified applicant, and the need for legal help on eviction and family law issues has grown over the past year in the spiraling economy. Guests scheduled for honors at the banquet include Riverside County Superior Court Judges Irma Asberry, Helios J. Hernandez II and Becky Dugan, as well as San Bernardino County Superior Court Judge John Pacheco.
