It is increasingly desirable for the American people to be knowledgeable about the varied and conflicting laws as well as the comments put out on news programs.
Obama said, when running for office, that he was offering "change". For people sick and tired of George Bush that sounded good but what was missing was the definition of change. As it turns out diabetes and hypertension were to be "changed" to cancer !
Now Obama and entourage are offering "comprehensive Immigration Reform". But again what the snake oil salesman is omitting is the specifics of reform. As Yogi Berra would say: "It's deja vu all over again".
Last night O'Reilly offered that Obama may be ranking among the five 5 worst Presidents in US history and Brit Hume said; He's right at the top of the list. John Stossel said: There are 38 charter flights daily returning illegal aliens ! News to me. I hadn't heard that before !!!!
Now on the matter of Customs and Immigration laws the original provides fines for both civil and criminal violations. Some of the bone heads such as John McCain thought it was a little fine of a hundred dollars or so. True about the civil. But the criminal provides for $5,000 first offense and escalates from there for second offense on up to years of incarceration and even death penalty. It provides penalty's for aiding, abetting and encouraging illegal aliens to stay. Severe fines for failing to register for the draft. Yet none of these fines are ever imposed.
As to the crimes committed by the families of the illegal alien children:
1. Child abuse.
2. Child abandonment.
3. Violations of Customs and Immigration laws carrying heavy fines. These can apply to juveniles and yes there are adults accompanying some children.
4. Human trafficking.
Very serious offenses here in America. But will the Central American countries impose such there ?
And what about Mexico. Issuing visas to cross their country. Allowing the Tex Mex train to haul thousands?
The fees charged by the Coyotes is/are stated to be $300 to $3,000 by some reports and $7,000 to $8,000 by others. Again no-one knows for sure. Is our Government smarter than a 5th grader?
