Next to Jones, Tarpley is perhaps the most regular attraction at 9/11 truth events. The author of 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA, he believes that Islamic terrorism is a British and U.S. creation. Tarpley also believes that Karl Marx, the father of communism, was a British agent.
Letting Down Our Guard
There are real consequences to believing the 9/11 "inside job" nonsense. If we let our guard down against a real threat-Islamic terrorist networks active here and abroad-and instead go on a wild goose chase, we run the risk of failing to recognize the dangers that we currently face. When those future attacks happen, you can be sure that Jones and Tarpley will blame them on the sinister forces supposedly pulling the strings behind the scenes. Indeed, Tarpley's website touts one of his appearances on the Russia Today television network, when he asserted that "The recent failed attack on a US passenger jet traveling from Amsterdam to Detroit was a set-up provocation controlled by US intelligence..."
The pattern is the same-don't blame the Muslims.
This explains why the Arab government-funded propaganda channel Al-Jazeera covers 9/11 truth events. Al-Jazeera was a mouthpiece for al Qaeda and one its own correspondents went to prison for acting as an agent of the terrorist group. But devoting time and attention to the 9/11 "truth movement" diverts attention away from all of this. And that serves the interests of the Muslim extremists.
U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies are sometimes unaccountable and they are in desperate need of real reform. They violate human rights and are guilty of botched investigations and cover-ups. Despite the official "closing" of the case, they have failed to solve the post-9/11 anthrax attacks.
But never-ending talk of conspiracies involving these agencies serves to demoralize the American people into thinking that the situation in America is hopeless, and that the government is compromised and corrupt beyond repair. But the truth is that there is great hope-in the form of a new pro-freedom movement, also known as the Tea Parties. Here, again, we find Alex Jones playing a destructive role, such as when he showed up at a pro-gun rights event in Austin, Texas, sponsored by members of the Tea Party movement there.
Disruptive Agent
Here's what one eyewitness said happened-and it was captured on videotape: "Alex Jones shows up with a bullhorn and what can only be described as a gang of thugs, and proceeds to disrupt the entire rally, shouting over the speakers, shutting down the program, and ultimately driving off most of the participants with his obnoxious antics... [Jones] ranted on and on about the New World Order and various issues completely unrelated to the purpose of the protest, while surrounded by his personal videographers and thug-like followers."
One observer commented, "Alex Jones...[was] there to discredit the patriots by helping feed the mainstream media's effort to make the true Americans look like morons and paranoid lunatics, therefore effectively drawing attention away from the blatant and illegal disregard of our 2nd amendment rights..."
In this context, consider the fact that the LaRouche movement is behind the distribution of the photos and posters which feature Obama with a Hitler mustache. Of course, such an image is what the media hone in on, rather than what is being said at the podium-which fits LaRouche's purpose perfectly. And that purpose is to discredit the Tea Party movement.
Tragically, Alex Jones has had an impact on many young people who are now active in groups like Campaign for Liberty, which is affiliated with Ron Paul. Many came from the liberal side of things. But now that they have embraced new ideas of liberty and limited government, they have become suspicious of anything the government does and are easily led astray. Jones appeals to them because he is loud and takes a radical approach and seems knowledgeable on many matters.
Infiltrating The Movement
A former LaRouche insider and expert on the cult suggests that Jones and Tarpley are actually competitors for the same audience but have teamed up for common purposes. He, too, has noticed LaRouche material being posted on the Alex Jones and Ron Paul websites as well as various gold bug and tea party sites.
"Since Obama won," he explained, "the cult is doing exactly what it did when Jimmy Carter was elected. It merely turned to try to be a parasite off of the right-wing anger and this time Obama is an easy target. This is the same cult that raised money and recruited among the left when Bush was in power and was being labeled a Nazi."
This observer says that what the cult is doing is "carpetbagging" at any Tea Party or right-wing meeting or website it can find: "The idea is that they just abandoned the anti-Bush propaganda and are using the anti-Obama sentiment to raise money."
They are also physically attending Tea Party meetings. He noted that the Tea Party movement in Massachusetts had a LaRouche cult member by the name of Rachel Brown address their meetings and go on their radio show. Indeed, Brown went on Tea Party radio to discuss "the British empire's drive for global fascism." It is typical of the LaRouche movement to attack the British, especially the Queen of England, for everything that goes wrong in the world. She went on that show with Harley Schlanger of the LaRouche political action committee.
"They just had a cult candidate named Kesha Rogers win a Democratic primary in Texas," the former LaRouche insider said. "They will attend right-wing meetings to get some names to call back for more money. They will also feed more delusions which will backfire on the Tea Party."
LaRouche himself has been working in the Democratic Party, and ran for the presidency as a Democrat.
The former LaRouche insider said that those Hitler signs about Obama have been used to collect names and then money. "We did this a lot in the 1980s by going to farm meetings, militia meetings and feeding them material which will appeal to them," he said.
He adds that all of this can only lead to very bad press about the Tea Parties-stories about how the whole movement is not about taxes, but about every conspiracy kook who shows up. Instead of covering taxes, the media will focus on how the Tea Party thinks Obama is a Nazi and waves that poster. In short, a lot of people who should have thrown them out are paying the price by not getting rid of these cultists.
This former LaRouche insider says that the Tea Party movement must act quickly to get rid of the odor of the LaRouche cult; otherwise, it will be used against them. He says, "I am worried about the Tea Party being connected to the cult and not publicly denouncing them for showing up like parasites."
These forces of anti-Americanism, operating under the false flag of patriotism, must be exposed for who they are-before their antics irreparably taint the responsible pro-freedom movement and defeat a once-in-a-lifetime chance to take our country back.

PRESIDENT REAGAN WAS COMMITTED TO SEEING ILLEGAL DRUG USE eradicated from the United States, and his wife Nancy led the "Just Say No" to drugs campaign. These days, however, some conservatives rarely talk about the "war on drugs," possibly because they buy into the libertarian argument that it should be a matter of one's private choice and lifestyle. The problem with this line of reasoning is that the Pentagon shooter John Patrick Bedell was an extreme libertarian with a "medical marijuana" card who mistakenly believed that he had a constitutional right to smoke and grow the drug on his apartment balcony. He was so crazy because of prolonged pot use and mental illness that he thought the weed even had the potential to be the official currency of the United States. Bedell, in short, was a concrete example of why President and Nancy Reagan were so concerned about this problem. But the Bedell case also showed that the threat isn't just a matter of dumbing down our young people but creating ticking time-bombs who have the potential for violence.
DR. CORY SERVAAS OF THE SATURDAY EVENING POST HAS TOLD THE STORY OF ATTENDING a White House state dinner with President Reagan when they began discussing the problem. "We talked about drugs and marijuana," she said. "He was obviously proud of the work Nancy was doing in fighting drug abuse. He spoke about the harm of marijuana and pointed out that we were finding emphysema in young marijuana smokers. He said that the Russians could have wiped out our country if they could have gotten a single generation of young people addicted to drugs and marijuana." By "the Russians," Reagan obviously meant the communists in control of the Soviet Union. Reagan had fought the communists in Hollywood and feared they would use every available strategy to undermine and destroy America, especially its youth. The Soviet Union is gone, but the problem remains. The difference is that, in place of the Soviets, we have an assortment of rich liberals, led by George Soros and Peter Lewis, who have financed the drug legalization and "medical marijuana" movements. The problem is now so bad that there is a serious discussion in California about whether to legalize and tax marijuana in order to somehow save the state from financial bankruptcy.
GIL KERLIKOWSKE, DIRECTOR OF THE WHITE HOUSE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL Policy, opposes that idea, noting that marijuana use "is associated with dependence, respiratory and mental illness, poor motor performance, and cognitive impairment, among other negative effects." The Kerlikowske remarks came in a speech that constitutes belated recognition that the drug wars south of the border are inexorably linked to the growing use of marijuana in California, where some of the same Mexican drug gangs are planting and harvesting their crop. A report prepared by the California Department of Justice states that Mexican drug trafficking organizations "dominate the outdoor cultivation of marijuana in California," and are, in turn, linked to criminal street gangs and organized crime. Regarding the claim that legalization would eliminate the black market, reduce crime and strike a blow against the drug trafficking organizations, he explained that there would still be a "profit motive for the existing black market providers to stay in the market, as they can still cover their costs of production and make a nice profit." REGRETTABLY, JUDGE ANDREW NAPOLITANO OF FOX NEWS HOSTED PAUL ARMENTANO OF the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws on his "Freedom Watch" segment on Fox News.com to argue for legalization of marijuana, on the false assumption that the Mexican traffickers would therefore get out of the business. Napolitano has referred to Alex Jones, a leading light in the9/11 "truth" movement, as "great," bringing him on his "Freedom Watch" show as well. OUR LAST AIM REPORT EXAMINED THE ATTACKS ON THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT FROM THE left. Keith Olbermann's smear of the movement as racist was not only false but hypocritical, since MSNBC-TV has so many white faces (including his) hosting programs on the network. This AIM Report examines another threat to the Tea Party movement-the threat within. This is a story that might upset some of you, since Alex Jones and his films, including "The Obama Deception" and "Fall of the Republic," seem to be popular with some conservatives. THE PUSH TO OPEN THE MILITARY TO OPEN AND ACTIVE HOMOSEXUALS IS PICKING UP steam. In a case of false advertising, a bill to do this has been named "The Military Readiness Enhancement Act." It is tragic that Senator Joe Lieberman, who is usually pretty good on national security issues, is sponsoring the pro-homosexual bill. This increases the danger to our troops because male homosexuals carry so many different diseases, including HIV/AIDS. It is for this reason that they are prohibited from donating blood.
TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, LIBERAL SENATORS LED BY JOHN KERRY AND AL FRANKEN have pressured the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) into considering lifting the ban on male homosexuals donating blood. So all of us are now potentially at risk. It's a decision that could mean disease and death for many Americans, and billions of dollars in additional health care costs. Kerry claims blood tests will keep out most of the diseased blood. But writer and researcher Dale O'Leary says that male homosexuals "expose themselves to such a wide variety of pathogens that medical professionals can never be sure that they have a test to identify every one of them. There could even now be something lurking out there, hidden in the blood of apparently healthy men, waiting." Do you think our citizens, including our military, should be exposed to this threat?
