Why should citizens care about "civic knowledge" when citizenship itself has become a corrupted institution? How many anchor babies and their descendents falsely claim citizenship? What about entire territories like Puerto Rico that falsely claim citizenship outside of statehood? How many people are just squatting indefinitely in this country as "permanent resident aliens"? The immigrant corrupted state of the United States is also civic knowledge.
