The problem is these religions and especially their "flocks". If the Catholic Church and Islam were run like the US government, they couldn't exist at all. The beliefs of the Catholic Church and Islam are what is driving the entire planet into a nightmarish pit. It is corrupt beliefs that are the problem, not "dieties" and the power to enforce and dignify them.
