Languages are learned, skin color is inherited.

There are both deceased now, but I had an uncle who was married to a Guatemalan woman long before it was socially acceptable for a white person to marry a brown person. I believe they were married for over half a century.

Aunt 'Nita spoke English somewhat well. The fact that she learned Spanish as a child in Guatemala had no bearing on her legal status.


On the other hand, why isn't ICE addressing the English speaking Americans who hired illegals, regardless of whatever language spoken by the employer?
