I remember a Mexican coworker (who barely speaks English) pointing at some black people on a front porch and saying something like look at them - all they want to do is suck up welfare and medical care, the lazy bastards. He couldn't believe it.
I replied it was essentially the same idea some people have about illegal aliens (which he was at one time and may still be).
Whether or not he pretended not to understand what I said, he repeated himself.
