The parents are ignorant of what's being taught...
Some years ago I had contact with a household in which a girl about 15 years old wearing a Mecha tee shirt answered the door.
I asked her about Mecha and she smugly told me that Mecha was "a place I can meet people just like me".
I asked her if she had any idea of what the plan of Aztlan was about - she looked genuinely bewildered and said "no".
I merely added that she would be exposed to it in college and left it at that.
I have to ask concerning the "walk out" over the kids who wore American flagged shirts last May fifth just how much of that was spontaneously acted on by the Latino kids and how much of it was provoked by their "teachers"?
