Nothing's happened here that will hurt Obama in the upcoming election. The people royally pissed off by this executive action amnesty (Me, Larry, Davi, Bill, Phil, etc.) weren't going to be voting for Obama anyway. His actions have lost no one who was really considering casting a ballot for him. Meanwhile, he has succeeded in sucking up to La Raza and temporarily driven attention away from the current bad economic news.

What else is the guy going to do? Run on his record? He has to try to divide the country up and make us a bunch of bickering/battling special interests, otherwise he's toast in November.

What concerns me FAR MORE than the predictable pandering for the Hispanic vote from the left is what Romney said. His initial remarks in response to Obama's grand immigration pronouncement were that he thinks a permanent resolution needs to be made and he likes what Rubio has proposed.

What does that tell you? It suggests that he is heading in the direction of championing Rubio's watered down DREAM Act amnesty proposal. That way he will technically have kept his word that he "opposed" the DREAM Act, as he represented during the debates when trying to win over Republicans in the primaries.
