Apparantly she is uninformed about the illegal immigration movement or its history. From what I recall, 84% of our country was built by citizens and 14% by immigrants both legal and illegal.

So what if it is true? Are we in such a great position now that this is anything to brag about? People whose only response to the illegal immigration crisis is that "our country was built by immigrants" points out the problem.
If anyone asks why we have so many illegal immigrants, the most rational response should be "This country was built by immigrants. And they let the illegals in. Letting immigrants build anything in our country was our mistake in the first place."
