I believe you are referring to Dr John, not Dr. Hook.
We had a transgendering neighbor a few years back. While he/she was living next doo, the transformation began. There was always strange behavior next door too. Outdoor nudity, arguments with roomates who claimed misrepresetation about the living conditions, and we got to see the undergarments hanging from the clothes line in front of the house on wash day. Glad that's over with, but if you remember me mentioning that I ran into her/him at the capitol when I was speaking against that transgender employee legislation several weeks back.
