Three years in juvenile detention.

I don't have the quotes right in front of me, but a San Diego Union Tribune article (there is a UT series concerning the kid) said today that he may face charges in the US.

I believe his parents were illegal druggies who never lived in the same house for more than six months before being evicted and all their children, including this kid - who was born with cocaine in his system - were removed from the parent's custody by social services. This kid went to Mexico to live with his grandmother, as it seems with several of the other children.

It seems he was recruited into the criminal organization by a sister, and other of his siblings were involved as well. I believe several of them have been arrested in Mexico as well.

I believe his parents have been deported, or will be after serving criminal sentences. They should never have been allowed to come here to begin with, nor the previously arrived extended family which made it all possible.
