* Brian Terry was shot by "someone" but, to date, that someone hasn't been identified. There were initial rumors, coming from insiders, that he was shot in the back by friendly fire. Later the FBI said there was not evidence of that. Most media says: " Gun Runner guns were found at the scene. Fount - not used to shoot Terry. One Fox news reporter said gun runner guns were used to shoot Terry - that is not officially confirmed.

* Five invaders were reported. One escaped, one was shot and three were apprehended then released without charges. So far no-one has been charged.

* Mexican police arrested one cartel Zeta last week who is purported to be the point man on gun runners in his region. Between ATF, DEA and FBI there were, and still are, deep cover operatives in Mexico.

* Mexican police also arrested another central figure last week who was involved in the shooting of the two other American Federal law enforcement officers.

* I sort of doubt that the attorney general will survive this investigation.

Trying to hang a bad rap on honest gun dealers is particularly objectionable and illustrates just how dirty and corrupt elements are in furthering their political goals.
